On February 23rd Public Works announced the top 11 candidate roads for resurfacing during calendar year 2010. Please be aware that only $1.2 million is available, and that these 11 roads are estimated to cost $1.6 million so not all of them will be addressed during 2010 unless a budget amendment is adopted by the BOC.

Each year the Public Works Department performs a rating of every road in the County using a methodology developed by the Georgia Department of Transportation. W evaluate roads that appear in the top 100 of this ranking system and develop a list of resurfacing candidates. The top 100 roads for 2010 can be viewed here.
