There may be a new fish in your neighborhood! During September & October of 2011, markers were placed on the storm drains in several subdivisions in Oconee County. The markers have a fish design with a message not to dump anything into the storm drain.

Keep Oconee County Beautiful will hold their annual fall cleanup on Saturday, October 22nd starting at 9 am along the banks of the Apalachee River next to Highway 78. See here for info on the Rivers Alive website: http://www.riversalive.com/ra_cleanups.asp.
